My trips to India have been so transformational that I am still discovering the ways.  Most of my epiphanies are spiritual in nature, but I am seeing some other effects.  Case in point – in reviewing my photos, I am surprised at the number of people portraits.  I have always specialized in nature photography – catching the “personality” of an animal or a unique perspective of a landscape  are two of my favorite photographic challenges.  Secondarily I am mesmerized by lines and shapes, planes and angles, arcs, symmetries, echoing  patterns etc found in  man-made structures.

But there is something about the people of India – an expression, an inner glow, a secret, a spiritual peace and more than has drawn my camera more than in any other place.
