PARQUE NACIONAL DA TIJUCA, PART 5 : FOREST CREATURES

Within the lush environment of The Tijuca Forest are the homes of over 230 species of mammals, birds, butterflies, insects reptiles and bats.   Many of these, including squirrel monkeys and armadillos are also endangered. Despite this diversity it is not easy to photograph these creatures, as the forest provides great cover and many of the areas are so remote that it is difficult to walk through, much less take photographs.  However, such is the immense skill and talent of Vitor that he was successful in securing  gorgeous photos, including the toucan above.  Here are more:
